  • Films nowadays cost more to make yet there's less money set aside for low budget films as 90% of the budgets go to major Hollywood films whereas 10% goes to the small independent films.
  • The amount of money in the mid-to-low budget films is decreasing and is at the lowest numbers since 2006 according to BFI.
  • High end tv is at the same level as smaller films and has an increase in the amount of money put into production 
  • Normal television channels are almost doubling the amount of money spent leaving little to no difference between films and high end tv.
  • Netflix has made more original films than sky.
